block casting numbers, block ID

i intend to get a 351 windsor from either a boneyard or a donor vehicle for my mustang. i dont know off the top of my head how to tell the difference between the two when they are in the vehicle. can anyone provide some block casting numbers and head casting numbers so i can verify what im looking at before i buy?

also, some 351 specific id hints would be helpful. besides the veci label, i mean. thank you for the help. later, gents.

the easiest way is to look at the intake manifold.the windsor intake is about 3'' wider than the 302/5.0..other than that,they look the same.
