ground effects???

hey guys new to the fox chassis and was wonderin is the 85 and 86 body was teh same as the 79-84 cause there are ground effects packages for the 85-86 but nothing,that i have found, for the pre 1984 cars if they are different could i modify them slightly to fit... well if nto o well i dont mind the look of it the way it is but i wanted it to be different if any one knows of where i can pick up some ground effects for the earlier cars let me know i really need the help i want to get it painted all up asap..thanks in advance

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but I think all the ground effects out there will interchange within all 79-93 stangs and all the 4 eye capris. You might be able to find a set on ebay, and of course there is always the after market.

thats what i was hoping i was pretty sure but i figured hey whats the heck might as well see and find out before i throw the money down and end up havin them not fit most of the after market sites i looked at said they only fit the 85-86 stangs??? kinda wierd cause you would think that if htey wanted to puch teh product and it did actually fit the 79-86 or even through 93 cuase they would probly move more sets that way whatever though thanks again

Info on ground effects:
Everything from the fenders back will fit all years of the Fox Mustang and Capris with the Mustang rear bumper. Might also fit the bubbled Capris but I'm not sure.

The front bumpers on the 79-82 Mustang and 79-86 Capris have a flat nose instead of the rounded nose of the 83-86 Mustang. 83-86 air dams can be used on the 79-82 Mustangs but IMO they don't match up well.
