Also www.sunroofdoctor.com has a SIX piece kit for about the same price as the four piece kit from late model resto.Don't know the quality, but it also includes the felt seal on both sides of the t-top glass.

After this weekends rain,I was going to check into these again...I dont like it when it rains INSIDE my car!The wet butt thing just does not cut it!

By the way..how is she doing?

Thanks S for the quick answer. I'm on it. Pete: The car is painted 2 coats of charcoal color, a spot lighter than orig. and 4 coats of clear. New carpeting to go in. Your mouldings are on and look great. Phoenix Graphix decals are from the wrong year (80?) so I don't want to stripe the car until I get the right ones so that the stripe and decal colors will match.

This IS taking a long time, but the car does look good. Hold on, I'm cummin'.

Thanks again for the information. Where would I be without this board?

So,did you end up replacing the roof?

I bet she looks pretty, can't wait to see the pics!

Little by little,I'm touching up some of my trim. The dark charcoal has faded bad and looks like $#!T,And I'm planning on a color change to black anyway--so I'm doing the trim in a satin black. It looks a HELL of a lot better.I'm figuring out a way to get some pics up,so you can see.

Finally, your last statement hit me like a ton of bricks. It made me realize that :yes, without this board, there would be alot of us that may not follow through on that certain project or that job we have not tried before, because we didn't have the support. It is funny how you can help a bunch of people you don;t even really know, just by sharing your experience.I know that I get alot of inspiration from this board and appreciate the fact that its here for the taking!

Pete-I'm emailing you a pic of the roof body work. My bodyman fixed it since we couldn't get the roof skin.

Skye- Thanks again. I ordered the weatherstrip from 5.0 Resto. The site had it for $329., but they have reduced the price to $229. YES! They're shipping it directly to my body shop, today. Thanks for bringing me a step closer to the finish line.

Mine's getting closer to getting on the road. What I'm going to do is go to Phoenix Graphics with the car having the somewhat in tact decal on it and see what they can do and for how much. I will order multiple sets and see if that helps cost. I'd like two for me and since you'll need the same orange/reddish ones as I will, I'll at least request a third set. If you don't want them, I'm sure I can sell 'em eventually. The hatch decal should be the same as the fenders.

I wish I could have a timeline to give you, but with buying a house, getting married and having other cars demanding time (plus my self-admitted laziness!), I can't commit to much.

How could you put marriage ahead of an on-going, money sapping, head banging, teeth grinding, sleep losing project? My bad, there are similarities, huh. :P

I've got a guy looking at making decals based on photos. We'll see.

And yes, the hatch and fenders have the same size. Good luck.

Next month, I'll officially be a Croke. Hehe. Thanks. Just doing the courthouse thing as I'm just not a white dress gal and Mike is not tux material. We'll be taking his Capri to the courthouse. It's the second anniversary of our meeting (which involved him driving me around in the Capri as well..).

Hehe, yeah, nice avatars on this thread. Even the one sort of out of place one ;)
